Lean Green Ninja Smoothie

I have become obsessed with smoothies lately and I have been trying out tons of new recipes. Lucky for you, I like to share the good ones on my blog 🙂

This smoothie utilizes both fruits and vegetables. Fruits and leafy greens are packed with nutrition. Green smoothies are much healthier than fruit or vegetable juices. When juices are extracted, you get vitamins and minerals but no fiber. However, smoothies are made using the whole fruit/vegetable, so you get all the fiber in your drink.

PREP TIME: 5 minutes
CONTAINER: 72-ounce Blender Pitcher
MAKES: 4 (8-ounce servings)
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup mango chunks
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1/2 cup baby spinach
  • 1/2 cup kale leaves
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 2 cups ice
  1. Place all ingredients into the 72-ounce blender pitcher in the order listed.
  2. Turn unit on and blend.
  3. ENJOY 🙂

The recipe claims to make 4 servings but I’m not going to lie, I usually drink it all myself! I use to cringe at the thought of a green smoothie. Don’t be fooled by the veggies/color!
